Students enrolled in the MSc program in Drug Development Research Management at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Debrecen, recently participated in a comprehensive training program. Their interactive training began with a theoretical foundation, which was then continued with a practical session at a company based in Dunakeszi that provides, among other things, services in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research as well as analytics.

A two-day international conference on the development of the so-called inclusive education projects in secondary schools is held at the Faculty of Education for Children and Special Educational Needs of the University of Debrecen in Hajdúböszörmény. At the event, which is attended by almost eighty participants including the hosts, experts from Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic are to share their experiences on this topic.

VR technology is now used at the Department of Pediatrics at the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen to alleviate pain and anxiety associated with examinations and treatments. This innovative drug-free method will be available in several outpatient clinics and inpatient wards, which could facilitate care for hundreds of children every year. The program “VR Technology in Pain Management,” developed by One Foundation is coming to Debrecen, building on the professional expertise and experience acquired at Bethesda Children’s Hospital.
